If you are a farmer and you want more information about edamame, feel free to email us at info@asweetbean.com. We might not be able to tell you all of our secrets, but we will be happy to help if we can!

Edamame is a non-GMO version of soybean. And unlike conventional soy, edamame is harvested in the vegetable stage when it is green - you don't let it dry down. Two simple things we suggest you keep in mind about edamame... First, edamame is to soybeans what sweet corn is to field corn. Second, you can (generally speaking) manage an edamame crop like you grow food-grade, non-GMO beans. Remember, this means your weed control and pest management systems will need to be up to date!

We are no longer accepting additional growers for the 2011 crop season. If you are interested in growing edamame in future years, drop us a line.
